The dry-grown, organically farmed and vulnerable Yarra Yarra Cabernet Sauvignon is the quintessential quiet achiever. The fruit derives primarily from the mature, low-vigour Sarah’s Hill block. After traditional vinification, the wine is matured in new (50%) and seasoned French oak barriques for around 24 months. Intense blackcurrant, mulberry and cedar aromas, fine-grained tannins, great concentration and underlying savoury oak typify the style.
