The palate is filled with rich, ripe dark fruit flavors including plums, rhubarb, and dark cherries, accompanied by smoky vanillin cedar, a touch of meaty anise, and spicy dried herbs. The texture is supple and almost plump, with velvety tannins. The wine exhibits excellent depth and a lingering aftertaste characterized by ripe dark cherry, rhubarb, dark plum, smoky cedar, meaty anise, and spicy dried herbs.
