Coming from two parcels in Chambolle (Les Foucheres next to 1er cru Leborniquees and Combottes next to 1er cru Les Planets). This wine comes from 65 yr old vines vinified in 30% new oak for 18 months. Drinks like many 1er crus with beautiful minerality to marry the rich flavors of cherry and shaped by firm but fine tannins on the youthfully austere, dusty and well-balanced wine.
