The Hatchling Shiraz originates from various blocks within our estate vineyards in Marananga, Barossa Valley. Hand-picked and fermented in open top fermenters, it undergoes meticulous processing to extract maximum color, flavor, and tannin. After fermentation, the wine matures in seasoned French oak barriques for 15 months before blending and bottling. This Shiraz exhibits intense color and aromas of dark red fruits, mulberry, blackberry, and plum, with hints of chocolate and liquorice. The palate is rich and ripe, showcasing fresh dark and black fruits, balanced by fine, soft tannins, culminating in a long finish. Enjoy now or cellar for future delight.
