At the foot of the estate's garden. This is the vineyard in which I came to play when I was a child. Today, I go daily to see this plot. During the season, it is the benchmark that tells me what the vines need. The soil at the beginning of the hillsides makes it possible to obtain demonstrative wines from youth and which become richer with age. It is also with this plot that I made my first vintage in 2013. In short, you have understood, a terroir that is close to my heart.
Grape variety: Chardonnay
Site:To the south of the Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet, together with Puligny-Montrachet and Meursault, forms the famous "Côte des Blancs".
History and tradition:Ideally located at the foot of the garden of the family home, the vine is very pleasant and easy to grow.
Soil: Calcareous brown soil on marl. Marl is known as the source rock on which Chardonnay expresses itself best. The clay richness of the soil makes it possible to obtain rich and aromatic wines.
