Matured for 1 year in French oak. Dense inky black core with a deep bright dark purple hue. Elevated dark plum and liquorice scents mix with vanillin cedar, scorched earth, dried herbs and pepper. Mid weighted with a refined feel the palate is generously endowed with bright dark plum and liquorice fruits which sit over an earth, vanillin cedar, clove and peppered meat back drop. Fine grained tannins finishing with plenty of freshness and an elegant savoury aftertaste. Drink over the next 6-8 years. Alc. 14%
