The fruit was handpicked and fermented for 6 to 7 days in individual open slate fermenters. The wine was then aged for 20 months in a mix of seasoned French and American oak hogsheads, with 10% aged in new French oak hogsheads. The wine displays deep crimson and purple hues in the glass, and offers an inviting aroma with hints of spicy spices and blackberries. The palate is rich with abundant flavors, complemented by a long, lingering finish framed by silky tannins.
