Our wines are crafted from fruit sourced from our Estate-managed vineyards in Red Hill, along with a few other carefully chosen vineyards across the Peninsula. These wines are a superb representation of the Mornington Peninsula style, focusing on vibrant fruit. "The quality of these wines often rivals the best from other vineyards" (James Halliday).
The fruit was entirely de-stemmed and fermented in 2.5-ton open fermenters, spending an average of 21 days on skins in the fermenter. Maturation occurred over 11 months on lees in French oak barrels.
The nose is alive with red cherry aromas and spice. The palate features abundant red fruit complemented by a savory tannin structure, providing both framework and length.
