Fraser Gallop Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is partially barrel fermented combining the strengths of Semillon & Sauvignon Blanc to deliver an aromatic wine of strong citrus & grassy characters, tropical fruits, complexity and wonderful balance. It comes from the talented hands of Clive Otto.
A blend of 60% Semillon and 40% Sauvignon Blanc with a small portion of the Sauvignon Blanc aged in older French oak barriques. Brilliant pale straw colour with subtle flashes of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Vibrant lime and green apple aromas meld into grassy citrus like notes, subtle herbaceous asparagus characters and some minerality. Crunchy lime, delicate passionfruit and green apple fruits overlay an elegant back drop of herbaceous grassy characters and a citrusy minerality. Dry crisp finish with a zesty lemon fresh aftertaste.
