This is a great value entry point into the benchmark Merlot/Cabernet wines from Craggy Range. Sourced from the iconic Gimblett Gravels vineyard in Hawkes Bay, this deep crimson blend consists of predominantly Merlot, with Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. This release is a well-structured wine with layers of blackberry, cedar, and spice, classic Hawke's Bay aromas of cassis, black olive, dried tobacco, and roasted hazelnut.
